Blessed Mother

Blessed Mother
In my heart I sing my sweet song,
Return to the Motherland How deep I long
To touch the earth On which I was born,
The nurturing womb of the mother,
I mourn To be held in her arms
My mother, mother earth, chandi devi…I yearn
Through surrender to her, I open to learn
 Of my feminine wisdom
Ancient goddess within
Such beauty, such power I now know not a sin
 To walk in my Truth
My intuitive nature
To love, to care, to create & to nurture
 I honour the feminine
My cycles remind me,
Of universal rhythms I cannot deny thee
Chandra, the moon cycles flow in my blood,
I offer her blessings & know that we’re one
Surya, the sun Giver of life, strength & passion
I embrace his bright light And empower my actions
 From chrysalis to light
Like a butterfly I transform
I greet the process In which a new me is born
In awakening knowledge of both God & Goddess in me
I move into wholeness
Blessed union, I’m free
